Activ-Step® Bio-Based Footbed: The Activ-Step® bio-based footbed in this style, is partially crafted with BLOOM® algae. During collection of the algae from water habitats, this technology cleans 16m³ of CO2 from the atmosphere and cleans & restores 15 litres of water to the environment, per shoe. Algae is the fastest growing plant on Earth – it can double its size in as little as 24 hours – making it one of Earth’s most renewable resources.
