Successful ICUEE Exhibition sees Rock Fall take big steps in America

Rock Fall, a multi-award-winning second-generation family owned business in Alfreton sits at the forefront of the safety footwear market supplying more than 700,000 pairs per year, their world first innovations provide solutions to the ever-changing demands of modern industry.

The company’s turnover is now well into 8 figures in Safety footwear, supplying some of the largest companies in the world via a network of authorised distribution partners ranging from small independent safety equipment distributors, FTSE 100 PLCs and multi-national organisations. Major distributors include household names like Bunzl, Travis Perkins, Toolstation, Amazon, Rexel and Arco.

In spite of COVID-19, the Senior Management team has pressed on with plans to ‘cross the pond’ and are forming Rock Fall USA, with bulk stock now on the ground in Tennessee of their best selling lines; the RF8000 Helios Foundry Metatarsal Protection Boot and RF800 PowerMax Powerline Climbing Boot. Available now for 2 day delivery.

The decision follows a successful trip and exhibition at ICUEE last year, several styles are now launched in the Rock Fall ‘Worldwide’ Range.

Speaking about an important step for the business, Matthew Noon, Director said:

We really enjoyed the ICUEE expo. I think it’s fair to say that in a lot of ways, what happens in America today, happens in the UK tomorrow. However, in Safety Footwear, by and large, America has very much stood still. The commercial opportunities in America go without saying, the size of the market is enormous and we feel it’s the right time to expand the brand over there. We pioneered the American Electrical Hazard standard locally with the help of Western Power Distribution and this is now a step the other way. The ‘Worldwide’ Range is really exciting for our multi-national customers, our team and everyone involved.

The company has a strong desire to build the business, and the brand to international acclaim. This recent step has already seen a leading USA based trade website, Tool Tango list the RF328 Chatsworth as a leading Chainsaw protection boot.
