We discovered this fault as part of our routine batch testing, after further investigation it has come to light that only one line of production was using the incorrect toecap but due to the severity of the problem we have taken the decision to recall the whole batch.

Additional, stringent and somewhat arduous checking procedures have been put in place for all protective components in this manufacturing facility for the next 2 years.

A new, pre-shipment batch test policy has been enforced on this manufacturing facility.
