How do we continue to keep the competitive edge in protective footwear?
Our Partnership with Intertek and their Due Diligence Programme
We partner with Intertek, licensed by the BIS, to test our products in rigorous environments.
We are members of Intertek’s Due Diligence Programme ensuring that every batch of footwear is completely tested prior to being dispatched from our UK warehouse.
Due to these affiliations, we have ensured that we have partnered with ethical factories that have achieved and attained the highest standards to ensure our social responsibilities are met.
Our factories are BSCI participants, which means they meet the high standards set out by the Foreign Trade Association to improve working conditions in the global supply chain.
The BSCI and its partners share a common code of conduct, and through a collective commitment, the participants are achieving their goal of improving relationships in fair working conditions, all over the world.
Rock Fall’s factories are also certified to SA8000® standard, which is one of the world’s first auditable social standards developed by the SAI.
The standard ensures that we only employ, and engage with workers, in line with the policies that protect human rights. We are required to implement detailed management and quality structures to stay in line with the certification, and we are reviewed on a frequent basis to stay up-to-date.
